I too experience ear like popping in the night.

It's in my right ear. It's not a noise it's like my ear is throbing inside or an ear muscle is contracting. It has been happening for about 12 weeks now. My doctor says my ears are clean and itmay have something to do with blood pulsing through the veins or heart. He does not know, that's for sure. It's not sore in any way, but I have noticed on previous occassions my ear a little itchy inside.

It does not keep me awake but is annoying. I was also told it could be nerves or agitation over something. Anyone know whats causing thisThanks Linda Anonymous 42789 Replies • April 27, 2007 • 01:10 AM • • •. Hi all.Been there, got the T-Shirt. I have just found some relief for the 'ear popping/crackling-head feeling full/constant pressure-headaches-fluid feeling in my ear feeling' that the ENT and regular doctor said was 'nothing'/'not sure where that noise is coming from' (as the noise is audible to others, too)/'maybe it's TMJ/TMD'. Out of desperation I called the local health food store on yesterday.
